Never Give Up

All my life, times have been tough
when hoping things get better just isn't enough
horrible memories that will never fade
i have been hurt, and constantly betrayed

but i keep on going with my head held up high
because i keep believing the bad times will shortly pass by
many tears have fallen, and there are nights i will never forget
a life filled with sadness, is one i will surely regret

it's time to move on, and make a new start
with a smile on my face and a new beat to my heart
things will get better, the pain cannot last
i will no longer hold on to things from the past

i have a bright future, and i have a big heart
there have been times where i have falling apart
but i will never give up and i will never give in
life's just a fight, and i'm gonna win

    A very optimistic poem, unlike the previous one I read. I think that every poet wrote a poem about the will to never surrender. I myself have a poem on such a subject. The word use here was better, the rhyming scheme and flow fit. Overall, you still can use a higher vocabulary, but I guess that it's just your style.

    I l ove when a poem ends with a single word that makes the whole thing beautiful, i think you've really achieved that with this one.
