Sweetest Dream

by Rican Chemistry   Aug 2, 2009

You try to recognize where you are
You try to imagine where you could be
And no matter if its near or far
I just know its where I'm meant to be

If I could just let go of my past
If I could let go and be free
Maybe this time it will last
Maybe we could be, if I could see

If I knew what to do
What to say or what to feel
Maybe then it wouldn't be so scary, no
To imagine this was real

Its like when you're around
The more it seems like I'm dreaming
My heart adopts its own rhythm
And I stop myself from fearing

What is there to be so scared of?
It shouldn't matter where this may go
We should cherish every moment
Every minute, take it slow

What's the worst that could happen?
A price I might be willing to pay
As long as this dream becomes real
I wouldn't mind if by your side I could stay

If only for a dreams length
I would walk the world for you
I'm more than willing to become
Whatever it is you want me to

I'll face my fears with strength and will
i"ll let go and give myself to you
I'll gladly pay the price
To fall in love with you

And if at the end
I wake from the sweetest sleep,
I would still have the loveliest of dreams
In my heart, my soul, buried deep
