Good Bye Text

by Brittany Michelle   Aug 3, 2009

I wake at 6:00 in the morning light
Crying in my pillow
The tears reflect from the moon light
The phone is buzzing on the floor
I throw your picture at my window
And my clock to the door

The room goes quiet not even the wind blows
That text on my phone
That absence is now known
I scream out your name
And make myself bleed

Because of your goodbye text
My life won't be the same
I read the text over and over again
As the contact shows your name
Momma runs in the room asking what's wrong?

I show her the text and say your gone
She is in an amazement as i was
She sees the marks on my arm and shakes her head
She grabs the phone sitting on my bed
Seeing your picture lying there dead....

So i am this girl and you were this boy i loved
Yes, were this boy I loved
because of your goodbye text
