Last Night

by cowgirlstar26   Aug 4, 2009

To simplify this feeling
braking out of my norm
no more hiding the fear
this life's a tragic storm

I watch my pulse rush out
your here watching too
grabbing me, pleading
this won't end anytime soon

I scream let go
let me pass though life
Don't hold me shut
Bleeding out, I wish to die

my veins clot up
I have to brake free
run away from these arms
let go, stop holding me!

You understand why I can't stay
yelling at me, to make it through
But, it's not a fight I want to win
Just to give up, give in, Lose

there's no structure to this
hiding these thoughts of last night
I'm stricken with agony over it
seeing red, black...then bright lights

    I am blown awy by your style and depth and I would not change a thing The imagery and metaphors stand out also.

    I love how you switched between different perspectives in this peace, though it didn't rhyme throughout the entire poem, when it did it was very powerful.
