Speak Of Reality.

by Brenda   Sep 12, 2009

Don't feed me lies.
when you know;
I can handle the truth.
so speak of reality.
I'm tired of foolish fantasy.
[don't manipulate me any longer]

I am not a little girl.
& you've never know me as one.
so don't try to fix this.
when I can see you destroying it.

don't be afraid of my tears.
they aren't falling for you;
I cry because I wasted time.
on someone who didn't deserve it.
don't be afraid of my frown.
I'll smile when the wounds heal.

I am not a little girl;
so don't tell me to pretend. .
. .that you were never here.
