Negligence

by Robert   Sep 16, 2009

Terrorized and bombed,
shattered into pieces
the table was turned,
and now i'm lying underneath it-
and i'm still here by myself

tied you to the bed,
as you undone the ropes
and tied them round my neck,
left me choking in silence-
and i'm still straining to breathe

alone, alone, left alone in solitude
you spat me goodbye,
left me naked and confused

now everything is burning into ashes
i can't survive, as my heart thrashes
and i lie here by myself
