Transition in Will

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Sep 19, 2009

I found a new ambition
causing my life to transition,
but I can't seem to find the will
to take this speed and force it still.

When life has always moved so fast,
it's weird to try and make it last
by taking out what makes it gone,
though to this corruption I am drawn.

I'll find myself tripping over lies
about an addiction in disguise.
Living in thoughts so redundant,
in fact they become abundant.

Unwrap my fingers and cross my thighs,
so I may reach to help me rise
above my faults holding me 'neath
the secrets escaping past my teeth.

A set of rules I must abide,
though often I will put aside
these regulations to obey.
There's nothing more I can say.
