The title really caught my eye on the page, it was well-thought out..

"Twilight skies twist aging star trails
    Over hidden treetops long forgotten,
While patient eyes glitter with anticipation."

This is my style of writing, this opening was fantastic! The wording and the meaning just shot right into me and held my interest like a story!

"Luminescent lanterns hang within the clouds,
Reminding daylight of the hours yet to come.
Unwept tears shimmer on the earth
Shed without a mind for freedom,
Only in regret for frightened youth."

Very interesting, the imagery created here is beautiful and you have me wanting more.

"All the while silent wind is carried
    With malicious intent circling aloft,
    Golden pearls stained with oil
Explore the depths of placid shadows."

Great vocabulary use here, "placid" is such a descriptive word.

    I really enjoyed this line:

    "golden pearls stained with oil",

unique nature poems are so nice to come upon and this was new and refreshing.

    "Pleasant disregard for life lingers
Within the heart of midnight's breath,
Meanwhile crimson stock soils the veins
Of departed kin upon the forest floor,
    A voiceless victim's final words
Etched within the heart of living stone,
    But forever faded, left unknown."

Very thoughtful words you have weaved, all I can say is well done. The flow was as soothing and perfect as could be and I am sorry I have no suggestions for you. I think tonight I will be checking out more of your poetry, poems like these are very fun to read.

Take care now and God bless you!

I like your style a lot; keep it up. (:
Haven't gotten to read all 200-something poems but I've read 3 or 4 of your more recent ones and really liked them!
