Suffering It Alone.

by Hallo A Lilium   Nov 5, 2009

I watched you suffer with your oncoming death.
There was nothing I could do, I had nothing left.
All the voices drowned out to the sound of your shallow breath.
Holding onto you even when my arms had felt so bereft.

{Now you are gone from my life,
& all of our children are now held in the embrace of Christ}

But I still remember those final words..
They were all that were heard..
So silent yet resonating throughout me so loud..
Forced to stand alone.. on my angels empty cloud.
