I Want To

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Nov 9, 2009

Been living my life on the safe side,
Caution i will throw away.
I want to scream from the top of my lungs,
Because this loneliness always stays.

I want to climb atop the mountains,
And shout as much as i can.
Drink from lakes and rivers,
And travel through the lands.

I want to dance with every heartbeat,
With strangers i meet on the road.
The wild woman in me is building up,
The disciplined me is about to explode.

I want to inhale fresh air,
And feel the pain disappear.
I need to get out of this routine,
To be anywhere else but here.

*All these places and these faces.. Are getting old. - Chris Daughtry.

Beautiful but so sad because with the words you used it's liked yor trapped and really want to be set free and to be set free you'd give anything. 5/5, Em

I want to is something we have all felt in our lives, to break out of the same on thing and do something different. Well done.

I loved it! I feel the explosion you speak of many times... It is the artiste in us?

    Sharing helps...I think!
