Revive Me

by Italian Stallion   Nov 12, 2009

Entering a bitter shock, compressed; eyes twitching, body tensing - Unable to move. Releasing my soul, slowly unthawing, stopping the flow of life. I lie, spiritless, unable to awake - Stale.

Revive me written in red upon my chest, surrounded by pale blue skin. Contents: Revealed, naturally filtered for continuation of life. 1986 - 2009 appears then slowly disappears on the charts.

~*~

Revive me - and I shall revive you.

~*~

Unwraped, cold metal touching skin - shock, compressions begin. Reversed; eyes opening, body relaxing - able to move. Inhaling my soul, thawing, regenerating the flow of life. Sanguine, awake - Revived!

Leaving brutal pain, choked; unconstricted, rising tall, I'm alive and well. Captured: pure Bliss, assuring the continuation of life. I've been Revived - and I shall now revive you.

I find this poem very unique and original.I like the idea behind poem. How we wish, we could bring back those who has left us. But being mortals, we can only move on.

1986 - 2009 appears then slowly disappears on the charts.
^^^ I like how you phrase this, those people who has left us are only remembered temporarily, after that most just went back to their normal life.

I guess life does goes on.Nice choice of words that you have used for this poem. I truly enjoyed reading it.

    Excellent Job Joe;)
