She is the Essence of Love

A mother's love can't be made or shaped
and kept in a showcase for us to look at forever,
between mother and child the love is grown
with care for memories to happily flower.

In a mother's arms this daunting world fades
for she feeds her child tender strength,
like first aid is her soft kiss on the forehead
the roots of courage that takes a child to any length.

A mother's love knows no restrain or limit
like vines it supports through the roughest storms,
her devotion to her child no one can delete
and during the darkest time her embrace is warm.

A mother's heart proudly drums her child's name
in those gentle eyes she cradles understanding,
the toughest behavior with careful words she tames
and her concern never ignores or become demanding.

No store can sell or produce a mother's love
no child can ever forget or become blind to
the touch of her heart.

She is a gift irreplaceable, a work of art by God
she is the essence of love and the beauty of life.

    This is a poem to treasure. I could feel every once of your love for your mother while reading this piece.

    No store can sell or produce a mother's love
    no child can ever forget or become blind to
    the touch of her heart.

    We feel the touch of her heart no matter how old we get or how much time passes. She is who we still long for when we are sick. Who we want to confide in when we suffer a heartbreak.

    She is a gift irreplaceable, a work of art by God
    she is the essence of love and the beauty of life.

    I love the way you ended this tribute to your mom. I'm sure she is very proud to have a daughter like you.

    Happy bday to your mama, Meena...how pleased she must have been when she read this!

    Where would this world be withouth the warmth of a woman's love??? A mother is indeed the centre of life and this goes for all life's species.
