Life is but an epidemic
Of fear , denial and love
But so easily this can be destroyed
Through the eyes of war
Faith fades with the blood and smoke
So many lives lost
But why ?
Because peace on earth is but a dream .
That no one will ever see
When silence fills the night
What is it you dream ?
Compassion ?, Friendship ? , Love ?
The world is filled with undeniable war
That everyone can see
Sending men to war
To fight to death
For are we no better than the rest ?
Then who are we really ?
Heroes of war
Is that what they see ?
Ruining innocent lives
To please nobody
But why can’t you see
To fight for a name
To fight for a flag
Friendship will never exist in this way . . .
