Pointless

by Kayla   Dec 12, 2009

When I met you, it was like youd shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire, there was brilliancy, there was beauty.

How I longed for you to lay next to me,
to touch my face, to feel my presence.

All I have are my thoughts of you,
locked up inside my head.
How your selfish words have broke a fragile soul

Now your gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldnt see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.

I can't help how they're spelt, spell checker changes my commas to squigly lines and such so I have to take them out. Thanks.

    "youd" should be "you'd".

    "couldnt" should be "couldn't".

Otherwise this poem was very powerful for not being that long, and mainly it was original. I liked the whole idea you had going and I enjoyed reading your thoughts written down.

    Thanks for sharing.

God bless you and Merry Christmas!
