Death's kingdom comes late

by Larry Chamberlin   Jan 3, 2010

My brother says the verdict is in ...
most of our family is square
To which I say: "& we're not?"

Sometimes I feel I'm the oldest man I know
Too many people dying around me
I did not expect to be the last man
Clinging to the top of the hill,
Crying "I'm king of the world!"

Death's kingdom comes late.
