Frosted Panes of Memories (Nonet)

by Angie   Jan 10, 2010

Frosted Panes of Memories

flakes
floating
to the ground,
old days return.
snowmen, snowball fights
fireplace burning bright.
sipping hot chocolate, dreaming.
warm gentle sighs meet cold window
leaving frosted panes of memories.

So when I read the title I was like WHAT THE HECK ANG...curosity was killing me!!! And so nicely surprised me! I love this write!!! Seriously...I love it...I can't really relate because it doesn't snow here in florida but I get the picture totally!!! I can soooo see it IF I lived somewhere with snow...lol

Seriously though my great grandmother used to sit by the window and stare outside ALL DAY when I was a little girl. I used to sit with her for hours...sometimes we talked and sometimes we didn't...some of the most precious memories I have. Though it was sunny and HOT....this piece reminded me of that...nice!!!
