Not Friends Anymore

by Alice   Jan 14, 2010

A sparkle of life within her eyes
A flame from beneath to ignite the lies
She's always a loner never a pet
Never in one place never a bet
To place your money on to count on at all
She'll leave you standing your face you will fall
Put yourself out there and surely you'll see
How much you can trust her how much she can be
A toll on the heart and a disappointment to thee
In the end it's all about the people and party
The one with Scotch, Gin, and Bacardi
She'll vanish from thin air not a thought not a care
When things are too tough when she can't seem to bare
The problems and tasks of normal life
The torture and pain such awful strife
Except it's really not as bad as she does see
Her problems are small so small and tiny
Finally the last thought of my little tribute
To that friend of mine like a last piece of fruit
If she'd had opened her eyes...she'd seen she had me
Too late now friends again we will not be.
