A mere moment
can touch one
for a lifetime
If only you believe....

Pictures, so I may look
into your angelic eyes.
My thoughts consumed
If only I could get lost within....

Sensing.....a true heart
One that is kind
Insight,so you may know
If only part of my soul....

Not easily defined
Surrounded by so many
Yet still alone
If only someone understood....

Insomnia, sorrow
and to dream........
Of you holding me
if only for a while....

Perhaps a broken heart
may get a moment to rest
Safe in strong arms
If only................

    I love when a line is repeated in a stanza. It makes it much more powerful, like you're really trying to get your point across..
    This piece is so relateable, you described feelings that so many of us out there are feeling..

    I absolutely loved this. And as Yakari said, you ended it with a sense of hope. Beautifully penned.
