Passed by your way

by Sara   Jan 26, 2010

That day you were quite all afternoon
I got the feeling, something bad was gonna happen soon

We came home, and sat us down
I kept talking to you - waiting for your sound

Suddenly it came; 'Honey we need to talk
I don't think this is going to work.'

The tables turned - you kept talking to me
Now it was me who was quite - thinking this I didn't see

Every little feeling, that inside I had
Flew out of me - for a moment I was dead

As you spoked to me, I started thinking of how we met
You walked pass me, smiled and in love we felt

Since we had had our battles - of course we had
But every time I ended up being sad

I gave you everything - think I loved you too much
Compromised my life - hoping to feel your true touch

But that touch never came - now I know
In our relationship you made me feel so low

Wanting you to be something that isn't you
I even wished that you'll feel the same pain that I always do

Now you act around me, like nothing ever was wrong
It kills me even look at you and pretending that I'm strong

I feel you're breaking up with me every day
Even though we don't have anything left to say

It is time for me to pick up the pieces that are left now
And start a new journey without you somehow

I hope that you in your life will find happiness
I know that I won't settle down for anything less

One thing I hope that you'll never forget
Is that 'We'll be together forever' you once said

Even though it didn't turned out that way
I'll never regret that that day, I passed by your way
