Conceived; Bereaved (Collab with Dressed in Love)

by Italian Stallion   Jan 31, 2010

Seamless designs embrace the horizon
as if to almost suffocate its surroundings
with piercing yellow that blinds the eyes.
Unleashed, breaking towers of transparency
engulf the hand-crafted pieces of art
that occupy the sandy plush for miles.

Sculpted as if by the hands of a master
dimensional contrast of texture and tones.
Brilliant blueprint, each diminutive detail unique,
original to its birth as natures own.
A palette of serenity, delicate blending of light
creating absolute certainty in existence

Surreal pieces of art...
intertwined with sweet pandemonium,
shadows a show, that nature consumed.
Forever destroyed; illusive beauty
grows always, embracing the warmth
from the sun to earths heart.

Close of day mirrors the struggle
of the continuum to live and flourish.
Ingenuity of nature flowers in bravado
rising to the magnificence of survival,
against heedless neglect and dispassion
of earths apathetic occupants.

Not much I can add to the other comments. This is a seamless collab as it should be and the message is powerful. Well done to both of you.

This poem is worded beautifully and I cannot point out a favorite stanza.

I love the message that is in it, for it's a very true one: we are the only enemies of this earth and it's inhabitants. We disrupt the natural course of most processes and cannot even make our own run smoothly. Even animals know better than to keep making the same mistakes..but we do, because we are the dumbest creatures that ever lived.

    Good work Joe and Melody:)

    God bless,

    5/5 Ingrid
