Shower

by Kuro   Feb 11, 2010

There isn't enough hot water
To ease my restless mind
I close my weary eyes,
Release feelings confined

Saturating my hair
With thoughts of strife and pain
Then sending them away
On down to the drain

Cleaning the body
And soothing the soul
Let it ease your mind
Try to regain control

Then the water goes cold
Brought back to reality
I'm left there confused
Of my own morality

Absolutly loved this poem. Very vivid and emotional. i could see the emotions of stress just wash away and then all of sudden come back to reality.

Very strong words, I loved the story you told, although sad.
It makes me curious, ya know?
Where is this person? what happened? what kind of day did he have? What does he do next?

    Great poem, truly so.
    5/5, well deserved.
because this piece spoke to me.
