Beauty.

by Larry Chamberlin   Feb 18, 2010

I think for some the greatest beauty
is what can be appreciated,
but never made one's own,
like Dante's Beatrice.

For we lesser people,
beauty is what we most desperately
crave in our lives, with at least
a glimmer that we can achieve her.

For me, beauty is opening my eyes each day
and being in this shining world
and all it provides to me.

For you, beauty is that grace
you give to us all
in voice and presence.
