Much Misery To Hide

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Feb 25, 2010

Smoking cigarettes all the time and devilish thoughts at bay,
Evil things is what this woman does or say.
Sometimes she can be fine, but most of the times so cruel,
Living for appearance is what she does, Always acting like a fool.

She sits and plots for a revengeful end just because she can,
Destroying herself and those around her for a negligent man.
Disgusting behavior spews out from this woman all the time,
Every word she utters, Every act undergone is pure crime.

She can barely live with herself, That's why she gives others pain,
Completely her fault that peace of mind is a goal she cannot attain.
When does hurting others mean that you are fine from the inside?
Those who fake happiness have much misery to hide.

She can take all her diamonds, her money and her crap,
Place it in a Golden cage just as good as a trap.
And in a few years when the wrinkles appear and she has much grown,
She'll realize that her material world has left her alone.

Sometimes she can be fine, but most of the times so cruel,
Always living for appearance and acting like a fool.
Hurting others, yet showing she is fine from the inside,
Little did she know that those who fake happiness.. have much misery to hide.

*Yes, those who superficially try hard to show they're happy, are the most miserable souls when they're alone.

You are right, those who act to be happy are the ones who are truly miserable.
They also take pleasure in making others miserable as well! I agree with you!

love can be painful but that doesnt mean we should destroy ourselves ...

What a release of emotion in this sad piece. Hope this person realizes what she is doing before it is to late to make ammends.
    Good job!

You nailed it again Walah. People who are really miserable usually put on a show for others so no one will know, but it's not hard to see them are they really are. Well done.
