Your Personal Demon

by Brittany   Mar 2, 2010

I make you need me.
Tear you down, then say sorry.
First sour then sweet.
you've never met evil like me.

I make you crave it.
because you broke me and left me there to lay,
so ill haunt you and make you pay
for the rest of eternity's days.

I'm a vile creature,
They always said be careful for what you wish for.

I was once sweet and innocent.
That was before we met, wasn't it?
You never treat me right anymore.
So now my evil will pump through my veins to the core.

You did this, are you proud?
My insanity's screaming out loud.

Everyday poison seeps through my mouth,
So tell me whose your Demon now?

Sometimes when others treat people badly it comes back at you like a slap in the face. I enjoyed this poem because not only does it have a lot of spunk, but is a reality for those who mistreat others. Karma.

    Great poem, 5/5!

I think that perhaps we have all felt this way regardless of our age. I know I have. (smiles) Well done, enjoyed reading it.
