Tears Pending...

by Adelaide   Mar 9, 2010

Pools of sorrow fill my eyes,
one tear drop after another
collects.
Transparent tears overflowing,
drowning my happiness for
eternity.
My eyes overwhelmed with watery woes
ready to downpour sorrow's rain
now.
Wanting so badly to cry,
but somehow tears stay frozen
waiting.
My teary eyes magnify life's pain,
droplets of melancholy awaiting
freedom.
