The Soccer Game

by BrayBray   Mar 24, 2010

Small, black, white and round
Rolling all across the ground.
The size of which is fairly small,,
Of course it is a soccer ball!

All the time, day and night;
The ball is used to ignite..
Confidence comes from within,
If this game, we wish to win.

The score is tied, with seconds remaining,
This moment, came from months of training.
The other team, now complaining,
PENALTY KICK; how entertaining!

Two seconds left, on the clock,
All the bench, now in shock;
I kick the ball, I see a hole,
It goes straight in! It's a goal!

Victory tastes so sweet!
Our mission is now complete.
For this year, we are the best.
And so this ends our epic quest.
