Burdens blast like blazing fires

by Teria   Apr 2, 2010

Child like endeavors
bring me to my knees,
i've watched you play
and watched you fight...
this my darling, is my night.

burdens blast like blazing fires,
words spur like bumble bees.
i'm fully aware you're hiding out,
but what's the use
if i don't blow a fuse?

sometimes it's hard to die.
but usually it's hard to live.
we'll battle the process,
smack down the conclusion
and hope for better next time

you've done this all your life,
what i speak of with such hate.
putting off, turning on, lying.
childlike endeavors darling,
bring me to my knees

This was good. someone that you care about that acts immaturely maybe? someone's going through a hard time and all you want is for their pain to go away. that's what i got from this. i don't know if it's right. but good write :)
