Sunglasses

by Shasya   Apr 3, 2010

The sun's rays beat down, harsher
As glowing light, blindingly bright
And yet not one thing is clearer
Not one thing seems right

Magnitude doesnt define competence
Bright light doesnt always reveal
Hidden secrets, that make little sense
Facts that lack appeal

Theres so much that we dont see
And theres so much that isnt known
But being ignorant lets us be free
And so, our mind is a clone

If you stop seeking and start believing
Everything that everybody says
Then you cant see what the sun's exposing
Because you're wearing sunglasses
