When She Smiles

by Dacey Flame   May 5, 2010

When she smiles
And it's infectious
A virus that prosecutes her face
To chase away the tired eyes
The heavy loss
And the dusty pain of
Holding on

And she is who she is
But she's beautiful as hell
Everyday I've known her
And every time she's made me stutter
So I hover in the farthest bit of her glow
Longing to be so much closer
And my day is a good one
If I can make her smile
