Identity

by Beauty Within These Pages of Darkness   May 12, 2010

You all know the feeling
The feeling of desperation
Hopefully without the aftermath
Of any kind of complication

From any outsiders
Who don't know you
From any other person
You'll see it through

To the bitter end
They may call you false
But they are the ones walking around
Without a pulse

Stay unique to yourself
And you'll be remembered for ages
If you ignore yourself
Then you'll be consigned to the history pages
Soon to be covered by the mist of darkness

The darkness that surrounds us
Will not abandon its grasp
That it has cast upon us
Unless you remove that mask

You all know the feeling
The feeling of desperation
Hopefully without the aftermath
Of any kind of complication

From any outsiders
Who don't know you
From any other person
You'll see it through

To the bitter end
They may call you false
But they are the ones walking around
Without a pulse

Don't listen to them
Remind yourself about peace and serenity
And always stay true
To your identity
