Drowning in an ocean

I'm drowning in an ocean
But one that’s not at sea
The tide is pulling me under
And I can not breathe

The wind wisps against my cheek
The air painful and cold
How I want this love to blossom
And I wanted to marry and get old

I fear this will not happen
As the depression closes in
No more hope, no more freedom
And the world goes black then nothing
