To Dream Again

by Anthony M   Aug 8, 2010

How to explain this tale
coy vixen's sly signals
drawing me closer by the hour
tried resisting, to no avail
disarming me with her smile
reading my innermost thoughts
stripping away layers with ease
brushing away defenses with style
secrets are willingly confessed
wind carries caution to the sky
headfirst into the depths
cherub's quiver holds one less.
