WHAT AN AMAZING WRITE! Lol.... Your poem just blew me away... You have expressed yourelf so well.. and the end was magnificent. It is good to "move on" and not be a captive to resentment. WELL DONE! :)

I thank you both humbly and graciously. I have found that resentments are like a cancer that festers and eats away at you long after the actual incident. To harbor resentment was on my mind one day during daily meditation and the incorporating it into a poem with a harbor and ship just seemed right. So glad you both liked it. Much thanks

Billy Rob, I thank you so very much for such a gracious comment on my poem. Actually I had Samuel Taylor Coleridge in mind with his poem
The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and all of Gustave Dore illustrations.

Wow, this poem is definitely among one of the best poems I have read on this site in quite some time. The flow was absolutely flawless and it was very well written. Definitely worthy of front page, and I do look forward to reading more from you if the rest are near as comparable. Awesome job.

    Take Care,
