This world is not my home.

by anand singh   Sep 6, 2010

This world is not my home,
my home is in Heaven above.
It's a place where life is eternal,
and filled with an abundance of love.

If tonight my maker should call me home,
i'm prepared and is happy to go.
I wouldn't miss a single thing,
from this wicked world down here below.

When I get to Heaven,
what a joyous day that will be.
When I see the faces of my loved ones,
at Heavens gate, eagerly awaiting me.

It would be such an honor,
to receive my makers grace.
It would be a greater honor,
to meet my Jesus face to face.

Yes, away from the toxins of this world,
I will journey eagerly,
to take up eternal residence,
in that place my Jesus prepared for me.

    Forgot one!

I'm prepared and [ am] happy to go

Either you say : "I am" or just leave out the verb all together, both options are good.

    Hi Paul,

I have a few suggestions for you that I will put between brackets, feel free to use of ignore them:

This world is not my home,
my home is in Heaven above.
It's a place where life is eternal,
and filled with an abundance of love.

I can agree 100% with that and what a beautiful and heart warming thought:)

I think people that might not believe in God, start doing so when they read you:)

Well done, a pleasure as always,

    God bless,
