Beware of the devil.

by anand singh   Sep 21, 2010

If you slip into a depression,
if you're feeling hopeless and distressed,
that is when your heart is most vulnerable,
for Satan to put to the test.

You should rebuke the Devil,
for his words have no merit.
In Christ you are well protected,
by his mighty Holy spirit.

In Jesus Christ, without any doubt,
you are saved by the virtues of his blood,
for, while on the cross at Calvary,
his love for you flows like a flood.

Thank him often for every little mercy,
that he has bestowed on you from above.
Then enjoy for all of eternity,
his undying and unconditional love.

Yes, behold the Lamb of God,
that takes away the sins of the world.
Drink from his fountain of knowledge,
and, anchor your convictions to his words.

So, invite him into your hearts today,
not in part but in whole.
he will renew your heart,
and sanctify your soul.

We just have to remember that we walk with God and the devil doesn't have a chance. Well done.

To always do your utmost best to do things right is really all anyone can do, Paul..it takes so much strength to do the right thing, while doing bad comes easy to so many. To be a good person also involves being good to yourself and to all creatures, even when no one sees what you do exactly.

Good poem, you said it well my friend:)

    Blessings,
