A girl

I know a girl
she is one month along and no one knows
her heart and soul is lovely
her body beaten

she lost her twins by her mothers hand
and had lost her first due to her mother
she doesn't show her pain

people thinks she is a freak
but they don't know
she is slowly dying
with an unborn

they don't see how sweet she is
i barley know this girl but my heart
goes out to her
when i heard her story for the first

it made me cry
not for how bad it was
but for the fact that
a sweet girl carries all that alone

    Wow, this poem is full of emotion, it pours out from every word. This is a beautiful little piece about something that is so horribly hard to hear. If this is a story inspired by a true situation around you then I truly hope that she finds happiness and peace for herself and her body and what she wants. It's incredibly hard (at least for me) to write about other people's situations, but kudos to you, captured it very nicely. Good job !
