Allow me to say that I have found this a flowless POEM..I was taken away by the sweetness of the 2nd stanza.. I loved it.

no body knows that you don't write for us to read your words, but what's between the words..
    well I do

This poem is pure quality! I really enjoyed the sound of it inside my head as I read it.

My only wondering is whether the last line of the first stanza is one syllable too many, but maybe that's how you wanted it - my thought was what if this was something like "Lost loves, and dreams so sweet". However these are the musings of a novice, so please feel free to ignore them :)

However, repeating my first comment - pure quality.

I think this was a well written poem. Loved your imagery and diction. Though they were both cleverly used and I enjoyed seeing them in this piece. I didn't see anything wrong with it and I wouldn't change a thing if I was you. Very nice work :] Nik

I like the fact that you didnt have to write much to describe the inner workings of a poets mind. sometimes its just a complex simplicity. very well done.

Very nice work Michael. It flowed nicely and and captured, I think what it is to write. Very well done.

I loved how you made the striking comparison between "art trapped in a restless mind" to "unwritten poetry". Very delicate lines that conveyed simplicity- the ingenious flow, I have missed reading your work, it always hits home for me. Thanks for sharing valued thoughts from your mind, keep writing always more.

This is absolutely true if you don't mind me saying. Great job

  • You have conveyed a poet's intent/purpose perfectly. The flow and rhyme was absolutely flawless. Definitely one to add to the favourites list. Well done. (:
