A Poetic Prayer

by South C   Nov 11, 2010

Lord I come before you, right now in the name
To tell you my life, has not been the same
I tried you before, I'm sorry for that
When I think on the past, it was there I sat
I ask you to forgive me, and fill me with joy
Feel me with happiness, from the oats that you soy
Show me the meaning, in the traits of a wifey
Bless me to be a better man, cause I'm poisoned with ivy
I'm trying to forget, honestly I am
I need your help lord, bless me and my fam
There's alot on my shoulders, please relieve the pain
Cause if I have anymore problems, I'ma go insane
To put a smile one, will make the day go by
The biggest smile of them all, is by you in the sky
I'm not trying to be greedy, so don't get me wrong
But I show my emotions, when I listen to soft songs
I grew up to music, because I was always hurt
Until one day, I learned how to flirt
The angel who I flirted with, we use to be strong
Under my swole and soft arms, is where she belonged
My future is great, even though I have rough spots
If I go into the military, pray I take no shots
Thank you for listening, to my poetic prayer
Oh yea bless my mom, cause she works for the mayor
I love you lord, and I hope you forgive me
Cause in the future I swear, you'll be proud to see me
