Carry Me Away

I swing my life away on the music
that frees my soul
it takes me to a place
that no one else can see
no one can understand
the language my mind creates
when the world fades to black,
all I have is the melody to keep
the light shining in my heart

I listen to the wind blow
and through the leaves a melodic angel
gives me the wings to float among
the mystical trees
my body molds into the earth,
I cannot see myself from this deep down

I melt away as the music takes my
weakened soul from this strange place
I fade into my own little world
molding with the words as they
carry me away....
