Tee One

I still remember our hello
and even when i deleted all of
our facebook friendship
my mind has it shown.

i remember that talks
until night wasn't dark
i remember our first kiss
i still feel your laugh.

we were cocky together
not defined as a couple
yet you had my heart tied
i can still hear your silence.

i remember being getting criticized
for the extremities we went to to speak
yet we surpassed that
and made their loneness our secret we couldn't keep.

whispering into the night
about jokes that wouldn't go right
i remember deleting people who had no
comparison to you.

i can still feel our first night
my uncertainties yet your confidence
so profound that i couldn't frown
i had to look ready too.

i used to call it something different
the feeling i had
it was so unique
yet it didn't last.

i remember crying from joy
and you being the only reason for
i remember our understanding
i remember wanting more of you, demanding.

&& when i look on it
it was pretty fun
being so happy
but now it done.

now i am not talking endlessly to you
i am not listening to your mind
i am not holding your smile
& you are not my...something ")

i was so lost
i still am
lost trying to start a beginning
yet your ideals are still here.

your consistent
correction of my incorrect spelling
or mishapped phrases
your raising eyebrows in amazement.

you Ms. & nicknames
your accent
our blames games
but your gone, people change.

i just want you to know
i still remember
won't try to forget
i still remember & i don't regret.

The last line "I still remember and I don't regret" left a lasting impression. Great way to end it. I hate to reiterate what everyone says all the time but you must have lots of emotion and feelings left in order to write this. Great poem.
