Field of Dreams

by Meagan Adelle   Jan 20, 2011

This field of dreams is where I waste away my day.
And to be honest, I'd have it no other way.
I really quite enjoy it here, and I'd rather not leave.
It's so much better here, than I ever could conceive.

See this day to day reality is more than I can bare.
So I waste my day in the field of dreams,
Where the sunlight's in your hair.

The field of dreams is where you are,
You're always near, you're never far.
My hand in your's, and your's in mine.
Your head on my chest, two hearts beating in time.

Sometimes we just lay around, have a lazy Sunday.
Finally with the courage to say what we wanted to say.
You sweetly sing a lullabye, our heart's song.
Then my eyes reopen, I've been gone far too long.

See this day to day reality is more than I can bare.
So I waste my day in the field of dreams,
Where the sunlight's in your hair.
