The Weeping Willow

by Kim   Jan 24, 2011

From the first day I saw you,
I knew the butterflies we never stop,
How did we go from so so happy,
To memories in this teardrop?

It started with a friendly smile,
Then some warm friendly hugs,
And then, it seemed, before we knew it,
We were cozy little bed bugs.

4 months later the arguments started,
Hurtful words, you said a few,
Left me in tears with upsetting texts,
Saying words I'd never say to you.

Doubts appeared in my head,
Although I kept on trying,
But now its clear for all to see,
When you said sorry you were lying.

Now I lay where we ued to lay,
The smell of your skin still on my pillow,
My head handing low, My eyes are heavy,
I am the weeping willow.
