Already Foresaken

by Christie   Jan 25, 2011

The light pursues like ever before,
An open door can't be ignored,
Yet within herself she is yet to find,
The strength she has always self-denied.

Few flaws and faults she deliberates,
Under-values and overcompensates,
Hidden shadows glow bright in her mind,
If she looks into the light she'll find:

A strength unperturbed by over achievement,
A smile not lost under constant bereavement,
A heart always looking for another to care,
A past like a book with the pages bare,

A flexible mind that is always yearning,
A common sense that is constantly learning,
A new found spirit still yet to explore,
A life of which she now adores.

With others comments laden in her hand,
All will fall just as she's planned,
And for those who who still claim she's mistaken,
Your cries fall on those already forsaken.
