Season Solstice

by Grunge Angel   Jan 25, 2011

Winter lurks its path
to show its ugly head
the beautiful blossoms of Autumn
are withered, shriveled, and dead

A different beauty arises
from the cold, indifferent snow
Gleaming; the shining promise
of something new to grow

But the bleakness of this season
makes everything forget
what it was like to live
without any regret

Until the beams of Spring
shine through the Winter's Grey
the freezing bide we challenge
isn't going away
