A Curiokie

by WaitAutumn   Feb 7, 2011

With a jittery curiosity,
it scrambled side to side.
All it wanted was that cookie.

The bitsy mouse with a wee
little squeak - a puddle, eyed
with a jittery curiosity.

Dipped his whiskers in the whiskey,
with a hicc and an up .
But all it wanted was that cookie.

Zippy and frizzy, it gave a tipsy
turn 'round - nd' down.
With a jittery curiosity.

Went on a dilly of a journey,
up on the highest shelf in the tallest cupboard.
All it wanted was that cookie.

Lickety split,
It was nothing but a mouse's squint -
With a jittery curiosity,
All it wanted was that cookie.
