Salvation

by Crimsonxheart   Mar 10, 2011

Smile like you're not hurting
and cry in silent prayer
You try to hope but it's not working
no one seems to care

An internal bleeding pain
A splinter in your heart
An icy crimson rain
is tearing you apart

A voice breaks through the quiet
The one to whom I ran
I plead for you to try it
to love the Son of Man

Then you can smile like you're not hurting
And laugh in joyous praise
For even in the darkest dream
He'll be with you always
