Gilded love (Sonnet)

by michael   Mar 23, 2011

I exuded my love across the sky

People listen crudely on wispy wind

These things they try to hear and try to spy

Because to us it is yet undefined

But with someone always there by your side

It is like the whole world is transparent

Giving this affection a place to hide

Since we are definitely aberrant.

My trust grows for this omnipotent lord

Giving reliance in this brittle strife

Since this beautiful place is our reward

But I see through this facade we call life

Her love was gilded from the very start

But nothing can eradicate my heart
