What i want (but not today)

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Apr 6, 2011

Her smile whispers in my mind
like the ghost of Christmas past
sailing thru an ocean ain't easy
on a vessel with a broken mast
on a voyage to find a chick
that got me fallin in love quick
sick of feeling love sick
tired of listening to the clock tick
when we lock eyes
time slowly passes us by
just someone whose happy to be with me
without asking me why
need someone i can talk to
just somebody who relates to me
you walking out of my life
is something that i would hate to see
when i kiss you
i feel you fall into my arms
I'll stand beside you well armed
to protect you from any harm
moving fast trying to race me
but thats never the case see
take the time to please her right
so she'll never want to replace me
cuz I'm a keeper
and i always plan to keep her
satisfied cuz i never lied
my feelings couldn't be deeper..
but thats just a dream
i got a little carried away
know that one day it will be reality
but not today
