How Can I Forget?

by Dreamofolwin   May 5, 2011

How can I forget...
the sweetness of your smile?
Your arms that cuddled round me
when I was just a little child.

How can I forget....
your love so warm and true?
That selfless love that gave its all,
when now I think of you.

How can I forget...
your memory my dear Mother?
You're gone now but your smile remains;
im my heart, like no other.

    The sweetness of your smile?

    *I'd change "of" to "from". That's the only thing that stuck out to me. Besides that this was a very sweet and touching poems. There are things that happen to us either good or bad that we just can't forget. Glad to have you back :] thanks for sharing. -Nik*

    Memory of mothers never seem to go away, these words remind me of the feelings and memories I have of mine.
