Heaven's Angel

The courage that she showed
to the pain we couldn't see,
She was strong until the end
no stronger could she be.

Tears rolled down my cheeks
As it was time to say goodbye,
My only thought was,
No Granny, please don't die.

As she closed her eyes
And drifted off to sleep,
I thought about all those memories,
That I would forever keep.

God has taken an Angel
That I can no longer see,
Everyday my wish is,
That she still be here with me.
